This idea may be typical and over done, but it is really not that bad of an idea. Going out to dinner doesn't have to be expensive either. The classes usually last 2 months and meet about three or 4 times to make your wine. It's a great way to take a trial run and get her to really like you by the time the wine is done fermenting.
